ABOUT COUNSELLING
What happens in counselling and psychotherapy?
Counselling/psychotherapy is not about giving advice or telling you what to do. Instead, counselling will help you understand the issues worrying you so you can decide for yourself how best to deal with them. In your counselling sessions you can talk about whatever you need to without being judged and safe in the knowledge that what you say will remain confidential. You can use the time we spend together to help you re-evaluate your choices and consider the changes you would like to make. Individual sessions take place in a comfortable and private setting.
Who is it for and how will it help?
Everyone has times in their life when they hit a crisis point, when things just no longer work for us as they are, and could use a bit of extra help and support to negotiate their way through it.
